What is the age of marriage in Uzbekistan?
- According to Article 15 of the Family Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan, boys can get married at the age of 18, and girls can get married at the age of 18.
- However, there are exceptions, including pregnancy, childbirth and "emancipation".
- In the above cases, the age of marriage may be reduced by one year in accordance with the decision of the mayor of the relevant city or district.
