UEFI or BIOS: how to check

The BIOS is a shell where you can manage many additional settings for your system. For example, you can change the boot order of devices, install or uninstall another system.

The BIOS has become obsolete and is now being replaced by UEFI. UEFI supports safer and more secure boot, which checks the integrity and malware of your operating system before booting.

To find out which system you are using, press WIN + R and run the msinfo32 command. In the System Information section, find the BIOS Mode setting and see its status.
