Naming the twins Hasan-Hussein and Fatima-Zahra

SHARE WITH FRIENDS:

In our people, it is customary to name twin boys Hasan-Husan, girls Fatima-Zuhra, a boy a girl, a boy Hasan-Zuhra if the boy was born first, and Fatima-Husan if the girl was born earlier. .
One day a young student came and said, “For the second time in a family, a son and twins were born. The first was named Hasan-Husan. He asked, "Is it possible to name Muhammad Hasan-Muhammad Husan as the second twin?"
In our neighboring village, when this was the case, the little twins were nicknamed "Shohasan-Shohusan".
In a family where the birth of twins is repeated, the younger twins are given the names "Bibi Fatima-Bibi Zuhra" and so on.
At this point, a legitimate question arises: is it really sunnah to give such a name? Did our Prophet have twin children and grandchildren?
First of all, let's talk about the wording and meaning of these names:
Fatima-Zuhra is not actually a name given to twin girls. In fact, its literal form is Fatima Zahra, which is the name and attribute of our mother Fatima, the daughter of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). Fatima is the name and Zahra is the adjective. Zahra means a radiant, bright, beautiful face. So, Fatima Zahra means "Mrs. Fatima with a light face". The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) did not have twin daughters.
The original correct form of Hasan-Husan is Hasan-Husayn. The name Hasan means beautiful, beautiful. Hussein, on the other hand, is a small form of musagg'ar, which means beautiful. It would be correct and appropriate to call our Hussein Hussein a little more accurate. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) named the first of the daughters of Fatima, mentioned above, Hasan, and the second child, born a year later, Hussein. These are not twins, but brothers who are a year apart! Because the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) did not have twin grandchildren! If we talk more about our mother Fatima Zahra and her children Hasan and Husayn, it will become clearer, insha'Allah!
Fatima Zahra (18-11h before the migration)
Fotima. Daughters of the Messenger of Allah Muhammad (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). From the tribe of Banu Hashim of the Quraysh tribe. His mother was Khadija bint Huwaylid. One of the famous and educated women of Quraysh. She was married to Ali ibn Abu Talib, the Commander of the Faithful. Hasan, Husayn, Umm Kulthum and Zaynab had children. (They also had a son named Muhsin, who died in infancy). His father died six months later. For the first time in the history of Islam, his blessed body was placed in a coffin. Eighteen hadiths have been narrated from our mother Fatima. Imam Suyuti's books As-Sughur al-Basima fi Manaqibis Sayyida Fatima and Umar Abu Nazr's Fatima bint Muhammad are about his virtues.
Hasan ibn Ali (3-50 h)
Hasan ibn Ali ibn Abu Talib, Abu Muhammad, Hashemi. The Commander of the Faithful, the beloved grandchildren of the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), the basil of the world, and the Lord of the people of Paradise. He narrated from his ancestors, the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), his father 'Ali, his brother Husayn, and his uncle Hind ibn Abu Hala. It was narrated by his son Hasan, Aisha (ra), Ikrima, Muhammad ibn Sirin and others. He was very gentle, pious and virtuous. He succeeded his father as caliph for several months. He then voluntarily renounced the caliphate and handed it over to Muawiya on several conditions. He saved many Muslims with this wise move. The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: This is my son Sayyid. It is not surprising that Allah will reform the relationship between the two Muslim communities with his help. ”His miracles came true and were confirmed. Hasan ra went to Madinah Munawwara and lived there until his death. He is said to have died of poisoning.
Husayn ibn Ali (4-61 h)
Husayn ibn Ali ibn Abu Talib, Abu Abdullah, Hashemi. The beloved grandchildren of the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), the basil of the world, and the masters of the people of Paradise. He was born in Madinah and lived there with his father until he left for Kufa. In Kufa, he and his father, Jamal, took part in the Siffin Wars and the struggle against the Khawarij, where he remained until his father was executed. He then stayed there with his brother until his brother handed over the caliphate to Muawiya. After surrendering, he and his brother moved to Madinah. His grandfather, father, mother and uncle narrated from Hadith ibn Abu Hala and 'Umar ibn Khattab. His brother Hasan, his children Ali Zaynulabidin, Fatima and his grandson Baqir, and Imam Sha'bi and others who did not have children narrated hadith. The authors of the Sunan have also narrated fewer hadiths from him in their books. He was a noble man. He was executed in Iraq during the reign of Yazid ibn Muawiya when he opposed the caliphate.
It is narrated on the authority of 'Ali that when Hasan was born, the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) came and said,' Show me my son, what is his name? ' I said, "I named it Harb." He said, 'No, not so, but his name should be Hasan.' When Hussein was born, we named him Harb. When the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) came, he said, 'Show me my son. What is his name?' I said, "I named it Harb." He said, "No, not so, but his name should be Hussein." When the third one was born, the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) came and said, 'Show me my son. What is his name?' I said, "I named it Harb." He said, "No, not like that, but his name should be Muhsin."
May our sincere and loving people, in good faith, name their twin daughters after the names and attributes of the daughters of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) who are most similar to the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). May Allah bless their twins with a blessed life according to their devotion!
Let the twin sons be blessed with the blessed names of our mother Fatima and the children of Hazrat Ali, the grandchildren of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), the basil of Paradise, and the masters of Paradise, Hazrat Hasan and Husayn. May the twins be like them, whose greatness will spread throughout the world and who will be an example to Islam and Muslim nations!
We are only stating the essence of the matter, that such naming is not a circumcision practice. So, in some families, when twin boys or girls were born twice, it was sunnah to call them by these names, so that they would not think about what to do now! Furthermore, it is wrong to believe that uncircumcised deeds are circumcised! May Allaah separate Sunnah deeds from non-Sunnah deeds and grant them the opportunity to follow their Sunnahs! Amen.
