I got married in 2015. We divorced in 2020. There is no property acquired during the marriage. I have a Cobalt car that my dad gave me in 2016. My ex-husband is demanding a share of that car. Does he have the right to do that?

According to Article 25 of the Family Code, the property received by the husband and wife during the marriage as a gift, inheritance or other free agreement is the personal property of each of them. Accordingly, your spouse cannot claim a share of the car. If you bought the car under a contract of sale, not as a gift, then you could demand a share.
