WHO IS AN OFFICIALLY DISABLED PERSON.
Question; I have a disability but I am not on the disability list. That is why I am not able to take advantage of the benefits provided to people with disabilities. How can I be included in the list of persons with disabilities. Where should I apply for this?
Answer; According to the Law of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. ZRU-641 "On the rights of persons with disabilities";
👉 Recognition of a citizen as a person with a disability - by medical and social expert commissions,
👉 Recognition of children under the age of eighteen as persons with disabilities is carried out by pediatric medical and social expert commissions.
🟢 The person is sent for medical and social examination by state medical institutions
🟢 Examination is carried out by medical and social expert commissions no later than ten calendar days from the date of receipt of medical documents. A person sent for medical and social examination shall be notified by the medical and social expert commission on the date of examination within two working days from the date of receipt of medical documents. If a disability is identified, the citizen is officially recognized as a person with a disability from the date of receipt of the documents by the medical and social expert commissions.
