ESET NOD32 vs 8KASPERSKY Which antivirus do you use?

SHARE WITH FRIENDS:

Tell me, which antivirus do you use? Those who understand the computer a little bit will immediately offer you the antivirus they use, and some hackers will even install it without asking. While some praise ESET NOD32, others call Kaspersky “the best”. Below I will give you my objective opinion about these two antiviruses.
Antiviruses are compared on 5 parameters:
  • 1.Design
  • 2.Processor and virus search speed
  • 3.Additional options
  • 4. Virus database capabilities
  • 5. Financial part
1. Both of these antiviruses have become simpler in design as they have been modernized, and the features that the user does not understand and do not use much are hidden from view.
The design of ESET NOD32 and Kaspersky is much simpler and clearer than other antivirus. Finding what you need will not be that difficult for you. The presence of "search" functions in the front windows makes it much easier to use these antiviruses. In the beginning, the color red was very conspicuous in Kaspersky, red borders, red buttons and similar symbols were the original design of Kaspersky. However, over time, Kaspersky changed it to as light green as possible. NOD32 was the same color from the beginning.
2. NOD32 - Starts faster than Kaspersky and the load on the system decreases every minute, the user almost does not notice while receiving the update, and in case of various errors or similar cases simply displays records. In Kaspersky, on the contrary, the more files a user opens, the more the system becomes burdened, and if something goes wrong or the computer is not connected to the Internet, it starts to "panic".
As for the search engine, ESET - searches faster than Kaspersky, but is relatively low in terms of efficiency. Kaspersky scans for a very long time, but finds relatively more dangerous files. Accordingly, the system loads and freezes.
3. ESET has the ability to block external ports (flash ports, disk drive), in addition, newer versions allow more control over the network. Kaspersky, on the other hand, has an unusual ability to restore the system, cloud protection and the like.
4. Kaspersky raises a very big issue when it comes to updating (License) - License issue! If older versions of NOD32 update information about viruses without any license, this is a very difficult issue in Kaspersky, even older versions require a licensed key to update the database, otherwise the search engine efficiency will work, in most cases simply will not work! Also, if you can manually update the old versions of ESET and use it even in places without internet, it is very difficult to do this work in Kaspersky, and even when you do, the level of efficiency will be much lower than in ESET!
5. Now it's time to buy a licensed key! Emerging ESET antiviruses, like Kaspersky, do not allow the user to update the database and scan for viruses until they receive a licensed key. But the advantage of ESET is that you can easily find its keys on the Internet for free (right only for a period of 1 month). You can also find Kaspersky keys on the Internet, but unlike ESET, key fraud is quickly exposed and reduces your performance until you put an antivirus licensed key, or “bleeds” you by releasing an ad about key fraud!
I have no intention of praising or denigrating any of the above antivirus. If you have a powerful computer and you do not have financial difficulties, install Kaspersky, if you do not like the extra costs and your computer is simpler, then ESET NOD32 is for you!
