WordPress is a content management system (CMS), written in the PHP programming language, in addition to which CSS styles, JS code, HTML tags are used. This CMS is mainly used to create blog sites, but now it is also possible to create sites of any complexity.

The WordPress system is updated frequently, and each update causes the creation of certain additional features, in addition to fixing bugs.

The good thing about this CMS is that the admin panel is very handy and understandable. You can also learn a little by yourself by knowing a little language (Russian or English).

In WordPress, a template is chosen to make a site, and based on this template, a site is created, finding templates is not a problem, because these CMS templates are many and colorful.

There are 2 types of templates, paid va free. If you want to make a complex site or a profitable site, of course it is advisable to choose a paid template, because when you use paid templates, if you encounter any problem, the template developers will solve this problem for you, i.e. there is support service.

Nowadays, templates have a responsive feature, meaning that they can be adapted to screens of any size, without creating a separate site for different screens.

Plugins are used to enhance the functionality of templates, plugins can add additional services without changing the structure of the site. The number of plugins is also very large and they are also constantly updated. When the WordPress version is updated, the plugins are updated on the same basis, i.e. customized.

Templates and plugins are the basis of this CMS, it is always necessary to update WordPress, templates and plugins (this is reported in the admin panel), which leads to an increase in the level of security. The situation I had was that I was using an older version of WordPress to cause the site to crash.

Before learning WordPress, you should know the following:

— About CMS;

— Web Server;

— MySQL (initial data: what is this, table, column, type,…);

— WAMP (Denver or OpenServer);

— HTML tags, CSS styles (the basis will suffice);

- create archive files and open them (WinRar);

- Work with Total Commander (if possible);

It will be harder for you if you don’t know anything at all about any of the above, so first, get a general idea of ​​what these concepts are, albeit theoretically.
