The balance of debt raised on behalf of the Government of the Republic of Uzbekistan and under the state guarantee amounted to 18,2 billion US dollars. This is 31,3 percent of gross domestic product (GDP).
Distribution of sources of public external debt (total - 16,1 billion US dollars):
• Asian Development Bank - $ 3,9 billion;
• Eximbank of China and the State Development Bank - $ 3,6 billion;
• World Bank - $ 2,7 billion;
• Japan International Cooperation Agency and the Bank for International Cooperation - $ 2,0 billion;
• Islamic Development Bank - $ 0,8 billion;
• Other international financial institutions - $ 2,1 billion;
• Sovereign international bonds - $ 1 billion.
