Myth: The more megapixels in the camera, the better the pictures 📸
☝️Truth: The number of megapixels only affects the number of pixels in a photo, but not its quality. In fact, image quality depends on pixel size, aperture, stabilization functions, and image processing software algorithms.
For example, the Samsung Galaxy S9 has a 12-megapixel camera, but it is one of the best of modern smartphones. However, there are many models on the market with a matrix of 20 or more megapixels - but no one praises them for their excellent image quality.
The 2 or more main cameras installed on most smartphones today are not “dry” advertising. Each manufacturer determines for what purpose the additional camera will be used. For example for approximation or stabilization. For example, the Galaxy Note 10 and Huawei P30 Pro are the most "smart" smartphones with this type of camera.
