Trigeminal neuralgia or severe pain in the face

Trigeminal neuralgia is a disease characterized by acute excruciating pain on one side of the face. This disease is common.

🔴 Its causes

Viral infections or, in popular parlance, “colds”. Inflammation of the nasal cavities (gaymoritis, frontitis), neuralgia often develops even after dental disease. Where the trigeminal nerve exits, the cerebral blood vessels also exit. Neuralgia develops even if these blood vessels suppress the trigeminal nerve. Pathological elongation of the artery and therefore compression of the trigeminal nerve is associated with prolonged blood pressure. People with diabetes mellitus and those who have consumed alcohol for many years also experience trigeminal neuralgia.

🔴 Passage

Tricuspid neuralgia is mild in some and passes quickly in others, while in others it lasts for many years. Attacks are triggered by a cold or colds (flu, sinusitis, frontitis).

🔴 Cure

First of all, the cause of the disease is eliminated. If the doctor starts treatment without determining the cause of the disease, his attempts will be ineffective. Treatment is based on a special program and this process can take several months. The patient should continue to take finlepsin (carbamazepine, tegretol) after the end of treatment. This drug is widely used not only in our country, but also in all developed countries. Because finlepsin is the most effective drug in trigeminal neuralgia. The dose of the drug and how long it should be taken is also done by the treating physician. In patients who have taken the drug in sufficient doses for a specified period of time and have protected themselves from various colds, the disease passes quickly. In severe forms of the disease, neurosurgical treatment is required.
