🔐 Types of encryption in Wi-Fi

1️⃣. OPEN is the absence of protection.

2️⃣. WEP (Wired Equivalent Privacy) is one of the first types of encryption. Passwords in WEP - 40 or 104 bits, which means that the combination is very short and can be detected in a few seconds.

3️⃣. WPA and WPA2 (Wi-Fi Protected Access) are currently the most advanced types of encryption. The length of the password is optional, from 8 to 63 bytes, which makes it very difficult to identify.

4️⃣. WPS / QSS - allows the customer to connect to an access point via a code (PIN) consisting of 8-digit numbers.
