World Day Against Child Labor is established by the International Labor Organization and is celebrated annually on June 12. The idea of ​​introducing a new date in the calendar came after the 1997 Conference on Combating the Worst Forms of Child Labor in Amsterdam and Oslo and the International Conference on Child Labor. These measures have drawn public attention to the need to embrace global efforts to end child labor. In the years since the entry into force of ILO Convention 82 on the burden of the worst forms of child labor, assistance has been provided to many working children, but more is expected to be done. According to the latest data, the number of working children in the world is 215 million, of which 115 million work in hazardous conditions. Many of them do not have the opportunity to go to school and play games. They are not getting the nutrition and attention they need. The member states of the International Labor Organization have set themselves the goal of ending the worst forms of child labor in 2016. This will require expanding the scope of activities and strengthening political will. In many countries around the world, various events are held with social and governmental organizations and institutions: photo exhibitions, site presentations, public actions, sports competitions, children's holidays, performances, information companies.
