Karakalpak Institute of Agriculture and Agrotechnology In accordance with the Government Resolution "On measures to establish the Karakalpak Institute of Agriculture and Agrotechnology" (No. 275, 04.05.2021), 2021/2022 was established on the basis of the Nukus branch of the Tashkent State Agrarian University.

The institute has introduced a credit-modular system of education, as well as five days a week of study and Saturday of the week as a day of independent study.

From the 2022/2023 academic year, the Geoinformation Systems Center and Laboratory will be established within the Institute in cooperation with the German Organization for International Cooperation.

Also, the activity of the educational-scientific center "Breeding, seed production and agro-technologies of oilseeds" in the form of a state institution under the Institute will be established.
