By the decision of the Cabinet of Ministers No. 1991 of October 1, 251, the Medical Faculty of QSU was transformed into the Nukus branch of TashPMI. The opening of the faculties of "Medical Prevention" and "Highly Qualified Nurses" in 2004 radically changed the history of the branch. The faculty "Medical Prophylaxis" prepares specialists for all regions of the Republic of Uzbekistan. In 2012, the Faculty of Dentistry was opened.
