Ogahi (pseudonym; full name is the son of Muhammadrizo Erniyozbek) (1809.17.12, Qiyot village near Khiva - 1874.14.12) - poet, historian, translator. Born in the Mirob family. Studied in Khiva madrasas. He mastered Arabic, Persian and Turkish languages. He participated in the conversations of famous poets and scientists of Khorezm, fans of literature. He diligently studied the works of Eastern classics, especially the work of Navoi. After the death of his uncle and teacher Munis in 1829, Khan of Khiva Olloqulikhan (1825-1842) Ogahiy was appointed as a mirab in place of Munis. From this period, Ogahi was engaged in public life and palace affairs. While engaged in social and political work, he fell from a horse and his leg became "shakarlang" (paralyzed). In 1845, he resigned from the position of a miro. Until the end of his life, he lived in a materially needy, sad, sick condition.
