Today, November 11, is the International Energy Saving Day
November 11 was declared Energy Saving Day by the initiative of the international environmental network "School of Resource and Energy Use Project" (SPARE).
The decision to organize this holiday was made at the international meeting of SPARE coordinators held in Kazakhstan in April 2008.
And in November 2008, the first energy saving day was celebrated in the world. This holiday has gained international status, because about 20 countries wanted to participate in the project.
The main goal of the holiday is to focus the attention of the authorities and the public on the rational use of resources and the development of renewable energy sources.
The problem of energy conservation is much deeper than it seems at first glance. Because saving energy reduces environmental pollution.
