Leo Tolstoy's rules of life

SHARE WITH FRIENDS:

At the age of 22, the great writer Leo Tolstoy made life rules for himself and followed them all his life. It is clear that these guidelines, which develop willpower, activity, memory and mental ability, will be of great benefit to us as well.

* * *

Endure any physical hardship, do not tell others that you are suffering.

* * *

Memorize a poem in a language you know weaker every day.

* * *

Donate one-tenth of the property you have.

* * *

When you get ten times richer, don’t change your lifestyle.

* * *

Look at everything from all angles - see both the pros and cons.

* * *

Don’t try to get the praise of people you don’t know or don’t like.

* * *

Salt your daily plan every morning and make sure you do it.

* * *

Work on yourself more than you think about what others think.

* * *

Don’t spend for fame.

* * *

Think of as many exercises as possible for yourself.

* * *

Don't ask for a job assistant that you can complete on your own.

* * *

Never reveal your feelings.

* * *

Love your neighbor as yourself, and love your two loved ones more than yourself.

* * *

Sleep as little as possible.

* * *

Repeat what you learn every night and day.

* * *

Use your surplus for society, not for yourself.

* * *

Seek opportunities to do good.

* * *

Be good and strive so that no one knows you are good.

* * *

Love everyone at once, do not stay away from this love.

* * *

Give up petty feelings for El’s love.

* * *

The worse the conditions, the stronger the movement.

* * *

Be content with what you have.

* * *

When you start a business, don't give up until it's over.

* * *

Contribute to the sweetness of the lives of your loved ones.
