Why does the child urinate?
Urinary excretion is also controlled by the nervous system. Here I would like to give a couple of oral explanations about nocturnal enuresis, that is, why a child urinates at night. Because parents with enuresis only refer their child to a urologist. The child should be seen by a neurologist first. All the children who urinate underneath will fall asleep soundly. At night, a sleeping child’s bladder fills with urine, and as a result, baroreceptors (pressure-sensing nerve tumors) located in the inner wall of the bladder are stimulated. The signals generated at these receptors are transmitted to the pelvic function control center located in the spinal cord. Here the signals are processed and transmitted to the brain.
The child should wake up when the signal reaches the brain. Because any additional signal that comes in addition creates a hearth of excitation in the brain and as a result the sleeping person wakes up. For example, waking up when you hear a loud noise, when something hurts, when the clock rings, or when you have a bad dream.
But the boy stays asleep. The spinal cord sends a "wake up" signal to the brain until it receives a response. And the brain is sound asleep! The kidneys, on the other hand, secrete urine and fill the bladder.
The bladder fills with urine and becomes larger. Baroreceptors, on the other hand, continue to send signals to the spinal cord. The spinal cord also transmits these signals to the brain immediately. Now it turns into an SOS signal! The brain is still sound asleep. He is not receiving any signals. The spinal cord, which has no choice, conspires with the bladder to "decide for themselves whether to urinate." The sleeping child urinates on the bed. The bladder sends another signal to the spinal cord that it has been emptied of urine. The spinal cord sends this signal back to the brain.
Now the signal is sent to the brain not only from the empty bladder, but also from receptors located on the skin, which are swollen with urine in bed. The brain is awakened by a series of signals. But it was too late!
If the enuresis is milder, the child will wake up after urinating underneath. In severe enuresis, the child may also fall asleep under the urine. The child only wakes up when he is full of sleep or from the cries of his mother and the slap on the spot.

So what is the reason for a baby sleeping soundly to urinate underneath?
Or why does enuresis last for years in some children? The child should not actually urinate under 2-3 years of age with treatment. The causes of enuresis are many, and to summarize them, the brain and spinal structures are not functionally well developed. In children who urinate, the processes of excitation and inhibition in the central nervous system are very poorly developed. This is because the brain does not receive signals or these signals do not generate enough excitation in the brain.
Almost all children with enuresis show signs of neurasthenia, which is very capricious. Most children are also physically weak. Their parents will also suffer from enuresis at a young age. Enuresis is more common in children living in urban areas or at home. Because they are less in the fresh air, spend a lot of time in front of TV and computer screens, play a lot of cell phones. Hence, the role of active physical activity in the prevention and even treatment of enuresis is enormous. Here I would like to point out that enuresis does not occur at all in children who exercise regularly.
Should enuresis be treated?
Sometimes enuresis does not require special treatment. But be sure to see a doctor. If your child does not find a more serious illness that causes enuresis, give him or her to a sports club. Even in children who ride a bike or play good football, urination is less common or enuresis disappears. What for? Because running and cycling enhance and harden the excitatory activity of the spinal centers associated with the activity of the pelvic organs. A child with enuresis is asked if he or she will be sexually weak when he or she grows up. No! However, if the baby urinates under the udder, his genitals may catch a cold. The child must be treated by a neurologist. The doctor decides individually how to treat the patient.
