Treatment is usually general anesthesia (under general anesthesia) with surgery. This surgery is performed routinely (not urgently) in the ENT departments through the nasal cavity. The operation lasts from 30 minutes to 1 hour. There are no scars on the face.
Patients' ability to work is restored in 1-2 weeks. Patients should refrain from physical labor for one month. In very rare cases, complications such as perforation of the nasal septum, adhesion to the side wall (synechia), or “saddle-like” shape may occur during surgery.
