The family is a sacred fortress, enriched by the spiritual, physical and spiritual maturity and perfection of parents and children.
It is also the most important part of people’s lives, a small part of society.
The issue of the family is of great importance in our country. Because the family is the basis of our national values, which have been developing and forming from time immemorial.
The independence of our country has become an important factor in the restoration of family values.
From year to year, the head of our state pays special attention to the prospects of the family and raising the morale of its members to a high level. At the same time, in our country, special attention is paid to strengthening the family, which is the main link in society, especially the protection of the legal and socio-economic interests of young families, their full support. Such efforts serve as a basis for the formation of a healthy generation in our country and the stability of families in society.
International Family Day, celebrated annually on May 15, was proclaimed by the UN General Assembly in 1993, with the main goal of drawing the attention of the public to the many problems of the family. According to the UN Secretary-General, when the fundamental rights of one family are violated, it threatens the unity of humanity as a single family. The stability of this sanctuary, which is a key part of society, depends in many ways on us as well.
The family is the main link in human development, the most important institution of the state system, the core of society and the bulwark that preserves the continuity of generations. The role and influence of the family in the formation and development of the unique spirituality of any nation is incomparable.
At all times, the development of a country has been assessed in terms of the role of the family in that society and the attention paid to it by the state. Human life begins with the family, and it is here that it is formed as a person. The family is the basis of universal values such as love, mutual respect and solidarity. The well-being of the family is a measure of a country’s growth and development. The purpose of International Family Day is to draw the attention of the world community to family values and the problems associated with the family institution. Every year on the occasion of the holiday, the address of the UN Secretary-General is announced, and this day is dedicated to a specific topic.
