THE CONSTITUTION IS THE EMBODIMENT OF OUR UNIVERSAL VALUES

SHARE WITH FRIENDS:

People have been living on the basis of certain laws and regulations since the beginning of human society. Because in any society, if a person does not live on the basis of laws, duties and obligations, rights and freedoms, it is inevitable that chaos will occur in such a society and state.
As each independent state comes into existence, it is impossible to imagine without its state symbols. One such symbol is "Constitution". Our country got its own constitution soon after gaining independence.
Well-known lawyer, politician, Human by rights Republic of Uzbekistan National center director Akmal Saidov, in a roundtable discussion with the students of Tashkent University: "When drafting the Constitution, we mainly follow three principles:
1) to the historical dictionaries of our national statehood;
2) to more than two hundred constitutions of developed countries;
3) we developed based on universal human values and our national traditions.
Hard work was done for more than two years in the development of this constitution. People's opinions were studied, ideas were exchanged with the broad intelligentsia of our country. Especially, the services of the First President of our Republic, the late IA Karimov, in developing the laws of our Constitution are incomparable!
In fact, it is gratifying that many international politicians and jurists recognize that our Constitution is more thorough and more perfect, and that it conforms to universal standards and is in line with today's times.
Our General Assembly is the main criterion that determines the rule of law in the country and that every citizen living in the country has equal rights before the law, regardless of religion, race, and social origin. Our constitution not only includes universal values, but also fully complies with our national values that have been forming for centuries. For example, in the Uzbek nation, the family has been the most sacred place. Taking this into account, even a whole chapter of the General Council, i.e. Chapter XIV, is dedicated to the family. I would like to draw your attention to another article of the Makur chapter! Article 66 of our Constitution states:
"Adult, able-bodied children are obliged to take care of their parents."
 As in our legislation, the constitutions of other countries stipulate that "Parents should take care of their children", but in which other constitution is there an obligation for elderly parents to take care of their children?! Today, it is said that such laws were carefully thought out before being introduced.
It's only fair to say so when the time comes! Any laws and regulations implemented as a result of human thought and research are subject to change over time, outdated laws are abolished and replaced with new laws that are necessary for our society. needs to be filled. A clear example of this is the fact that our constitution has been amended several times
